The CAA intramural soccer program is for both boys and girls and is structured for recreational athletes that want to learn the fundamentals of the game, with a big emphasis on having fun! No tryouts are required for intramural play.  The Fall Soccer registration period starts now and will run through August 13, 2008.  This deadline ensures time to organize teams, contact coaches and players, order equipment and jerseys, and have practices prior to the start of the season. The season will start the week of Sept 8 and finish on October 11. As in the past, each team will typically play two games each week for five weeks, with one being on a weeknight, and the other being on Saturday morning.  Which weekday(s) your league plays will not be known until immediately prior to the start of the season.  Teams will be formed after registration closes, and coaches will contact players by August 29.   Children are separated into leagues according to grade (not age) as shown below.

In order to participate in the Kindergarten league, your child must be 4½ years of age by September 30.  There is a third-child discount on the registration fee: 50% off ($30) for the third child. Registrations received after August 13 will be assessed a $15 late fee per player.

To minimize the burden on the volunteer coaches and administrators, it is important to get your registrations in as soon as possible. There are now two alternatives to register your child: (1) online registration, which allows a secure credit / debit card payment, and (2) mail-in registration which requires a check payment.  (You can also register online and mail a check payment.) The link for online registration can be found at by clicking HERE.  The mail-in registration form is found on in our attached newsletter and can be used for multiple players.  Be sure to include your email address (in CAPS preferably, for easy reading) as this is a very important way for coaches and adminstrators to communicate with you.  Additionally, if using mail-in registration, you must include a separate Emergency Medical Treatment and Waiver of Liability form for each child.  (If using online registration, these forms will be completed through the web site.)

ALL REGISTRATIONS POSTMARKED AFTER AUGUST 13 WILL BE SUBJECT TO TEAM/ROSTER AVAILABILITY.

Referees Needed:  If you know a high-school or middle-school student that would like to earn money by refereeing the intramural-league soccer games, please contact Fran DeCarlo, Referee Coordinator. His contact information is 330-665-5357, KFdecarlo@aol.com.
